Ogam is an ancient Celtic alphabet, also called the “tree alphabet”. Each character is associated with a specific tree or plant, carrying its symbolic meaning. According to myths, the Celtic god of language and poetry – Ogma – created the script by taking over the shadow of the trees.
In Ireland and parts of Britain it was used by carving in wood and stone for indications of names, places, and secret messages.
This series has been Riso printed in a limited edition of 30 copies each.
